I was born in Fresno County California on September 12 1956. Living close, I spent a lot of time in the Eastern Sierra's, Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park, and and an occasional trip to Yosemite National Park.
I've been an Amateur "Ham" Radio operator for thirty-five years. I hold the Amateur Extra Class License. I'm a Skywarn Severe Storm Spotter and sometimes a Storm Chaser.
I was a member of the Morehouse Parish Emergency Response Team, a now disbanded Search and Rescue Unit for 15 years, and was a Volunteer Assistant Homeland Security Director for a couple of years.
I've had a motorcycle endorsement on my Louisiana drivers license since 1971. I also competed in Enduros and Hare Scrambles.
